We know that for people for people to want to try using Lustre Pure Light for spot or acne prone skin, that they will want to fully understand the technology behind it.
This is why we decided to film an infomercial, featuring Dr Joanna Ward who is one of our biggest advocates.
We’re delighted that our very first Infomercial is airing on the following Sky channels:
The Mall (channel 682): 13.30-14.00 & 17.00-17.30
The Department Store (channel 681): 12.30-13.00 & 15.00-15.30
The Boutique (channel 653): 14.00-14.30 & 16.30-17.00
In it, Dr. Jo explains that many people find that when they’re out in the sunshine, their skin can look healthier and and their spots seem to improve, in some cases, spots can clear up completely!
This is great when we’re enjoying the sunny weather while on holiday, but when we’re back home our skin can often return it’s old habits, especially if we find ourselves overindulging in rich food and drink.
However, sunlight also contains ultraviolet (UVA-UVB) light which can damage skin and even cause skin cancer. Lustre Pure Light emits harmless Blue Light, very different from UV light, and has been used by dermatologists in specialist clinics for many years to treat acne.
Scientists have found that visible blue light at a wavelength of 415 nm does not cause damage to the skin but is effective in killing P. acnes, the bacteria which cause acne.
The infomercial demonstrates how simple and easy Lustre Pure Light is to use and how it allows you to continue with whatever you’re doing comfortably without having to take time out of your day to have your Lustre session.
